Minor Surgery

minor_injury7All doctors carry out regular minor surgery at special times of the month. If your doctor agrees that you require minor surgery you will be offered one of these appointments.

Immunisation

The immunisation session is held on a Tuesday morning between 9:30am – 12:30pm. Any queries with your immunisation appointment can be dealt with by Child Health HQ on 01743 450800 or by leaving a message with the reception staff.

Private Services

Some services that are provided at the surgery are not covered by the NHS. The following are services for which an appropriate charge will be made:- 

  • Private Medical Certificates of all kinds, 
  • holiday cancellation certificates, 
  • some holiday vaccinations ie yellow fever, 
  • BUPA/PPA etc, 
  • claim forms,
  • medical examinations.

Management And Self Treatment Of Common Minor Illnesses

Many conditions will get better on their own and can be treated successfully at home. These notes are for guidance only. Any patient or relative who is concerned about a complaint because of its severity, persistence or failure to improve with appropriate measures should, of course, contact the surgery for further advice.
