HOW
DO I...
Make
An Appointment?
A team of receptionists is
here to help and guide you.
You will be asked your name,
address, plus the date and time you would like to see a practitioner.
Our appointment system is
computerised and allows you to plan your routine visits in advance.
Please try to give as much notice as you can. Should you be unable to
attend please let us know so that your appointment can be offered to
someone else.
Please make a separate appointment
for each person who needs to be seen.
Sick Children
Your child will always be
seen as soon as possible. Please phone the surgery for an appointment,
or to ask advice from a doctor or nurse on whether to bring your child
to the surgery. (NB. this may be quicker than a visit.)
HOW
DO I...
Obtain Home Visits?
If you are not well enough
to come to the surgery please phone before 10.00am if a home visit is
required that day. Please give the receptionist as much information
as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls.
Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in
the time it takes to do a home visit. We would therefore be grateful
if patients could make every effort to come to the surgery unless they
are too ill or disabled to do so. (See Good Neighbours Scheme).
HOW
DO I...
Obtain Test Results?
If you have had a test or
investigation carried out at either the surgery or hospital please phone
for results between 2.00 and 6.00pm.
Results can only be given
to the patient and NOT to another person unless we have received your
specific permission.
